This year was obviously a nightmare for many people, but I know I speak for more than myself when I say that the community on OnlyFans helped transform this year into a blessing for so many others. You guys came together and changed lives and helped people when they needed it most, and I couldn’t be more excited to see that happen. I have been creating content and crowdfunding it since 2017 and I have always believed that it was the future of content. The idea that fans could directly support the individual creators they care about was something that I felt deeply passionate about and have built my whole life around it. The idea that creators could rely on their community to support them and not 3rd party ads or network funding was an evolution in content that I wanted to be a part of. When I started in 2017, it felt like a distant dream, but now in 2020 it’s the way things are. I watched this year as crowdfunding blew up and whole industry’s shifted. For a moment, creators with iPhones were making content in their houses that rivaled CBS and NBC. We were the experts in at home production and the world of content kinda became ours. It was an incredible shift and it’s still going. Giant venture backed corporate entertainment platforms like Quibi crumbled while the individual person with passion and a vision flourished. I watched as people who had no experience in creating made the decision to start an OnlyFans and have since grown into artists and story tellers who have been able to fully fund their lives and adventures from the support they get from their community. This year legitimized the independent content creator. I’m am so grateful to be here and to be able to watch this all happen in real time. When I started naked bakers I 100% believed this was going to be the future and now it is. We are living through a truly transformative period and I am so excited to see where this goes. Thank you so much to everyone who creates, everyone who supports, and the companies helping us to move this industry into the hands of the communities who make it up. Power to the people.
