Added 2021-09-02 17:07:53 +0000 UTC@bellaflowerstv and I just met up with @juicyjayna and now we are going to go explore the city, but what a wild ride last night was. 4.5 hours into the flight to New York the plane had to turn around and land in Chicago. There was a major storm over the city that shut the airport down. We were delayed for about 5 hours. When we finally got to NY it was 3am and due to the storm, we couldn’t get a ride to our hotel for almost an hour. By the time we got there and we’re able to rest it was 5:30am. We got about an hour of sleep before the construction started on the building that was right next to our room. It was unbearably loud. So we packed up and moved to a new hotel down the street at around 8am. By that point @juicyjayna arrived from the airport and wanted to meeet up for breakfast so we pretty much decided to forgo sleep and just get to exploring. Aside from all that chaos, it’s actually a beautiful day here in the city and we are all having a great time. The right travel companions can make even the most hectic of trips fun. ❤️
