I wasn’t allowed to talk and my family didn’t really talk to me my whole life. Like… I don’t know my aunts’ names or uncles names because they never told it to me or talked to me like a person. I was treated worse than a dog and when I see love I have to take time to process that it’s there and that I’m allowed to have it. I was just shuffled from place to place and made to behave. I’m not allowed to know anything or take care of myself the way other people are. I recently told my family members I don’t want them signing my name on things anymore. It’s not fair to me. I’m proud of myself.
