Most sources track the googly eye beginnings to a comic strip from the early 1900s called Barney Google and Snuffy Smith. Created by cartoonist Billy DeBeck in 1919, the cartoon character's defining physical characteristic was a pair of large, “googly” eyes. Although I'm sure not as large as mine and @audreyblake 😁. In 2008, Christopher Walken made putting them on plants or other inanimate objects popular on his SNL skit where he played a gardener with a fear of foliage. His character said “Normally, plants don’t have eyes, so it’s hard for me to trust them, hence…googly eyes!” This gave me an idea, since boobies don't usually have eyes, and in an effort for you to feel more comfortable on my page and stick around (since there's lots of boobies on my page 😈) I thought I would add googly eyes on mine, so you could know you can trust them, and since Audrey likes to make guest appearances on my page, I slapped some on hers too! 🤣 What do you think!?
