It is believed to date back to the iconic Times Square kiss photo from the end of World War II, where a surprised woman slightly lifts her leg in the middle of kissing a soldier that just got back from war (which is now believed to have been staged because of the foot pop). While most women claim to have never done this, and it seems to be manufactured by Hollywood, women, such as myself, often pop their leg up for photos. The primary aesthetic reason being for the enhancement of the booty curve. It also can elevate sexy-looking shoes so they're highlighted in a photo. It is also thought that women do this out of feeling awkward in front of the camera and needing something to do, they pop their foot. All of which being the case for me here. When I run out of ideas for poses I do silly poses like this, I'm also aware of the aesthetic of booty popping, and I'm wearing heals that I'd like to show off....if you're still with me, now you know some useless information and you can go about your day with that knowledge that you'll likely never use 😁 I'm personally full of this crap, now you know how it feels lol!
