Very dismissive, but it stuck with me. I never set out to do "porn" per se. I wanted to keep it artsy and more elevated, to not present what I called "aggressive cock shots." But as the years have gone by, I wanted to push back against that photographer's definition, because I need to challenge this country's fear/shame/derision/taboo of the male anatomy, especially when it's hard. I always say "one man's art is another man's porn" but who defines which is which? Everyone brings their own sensibility to their perceptions and I can't control that. And as you'll see, I have gotten bolder as the years passed because I realized that holding back just enables the shame. Porn or art or a combination? It's up to you, guys. I'm done holding back, which I why for this "Cockcentric," I wanted to do a retrospect of the photos in which I'm proudly "Shoving My Dick In Your Face." And I hope you enjoy every second of it. Thank you to all the photographers I've shot with over the years!
