If you don't, he has cut out quite a popular niche for himself as an artist with a very strong vision of what he finds attractive, sexy, and desirable. His men are usually older, hairier, and have a very intoxicating air of masculinity. I was thrilled to pose for him years ago when he was developing that vision, and since then, I have shot with him twice. He's kind of a touchstone for me, to see how I've changed over the years but hopefully still fit into his mission to present hot, real men who aren't the typical gay nude models. As you know, I'm also determined to show another side to gay modeling and sexuality with my anti-body shame and anti-ageism missions, so it's always a pleasure to check in with John when he comes to town, as he did recently. Beyond shooting photos, he has started to capture the sessions with a few behind the scenes short videos. We were hoping to do a full duo shoot with his next model Christian Matthews, but due to traffic and other LA chazerai, we only had a five minute overlap before I had to get on to my meeting. It was fun while it lasted though, and who knows...maybe one day we can shoot a full on video, the three of us. I thought it would be fun to do a special tribute to John and his work with me, incorporating the photos and the video. So here you go, the results of "3 Shoots--Real Men Real Life."
